In a recent update on May 24, 2022, the Armory was added to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but the new addition to the Ravensthorpe settlement needs to be constructed before it can be used. After building the Armory, Eivor will be able to save and swap between different loadouts. Eivor initially has two available loadouts options, but there are Armory upgrades in Assassin's Creed Valhalla's settlement that can be completed to unlock up to five slots.
The Armory will only be available to build in a settlement that is level three or higher. Other buildings around Ravensthorpe need to be constructed to upgrade the settlement. Once the Armory is available, players can build it for the relatively low cost of 100 Foreign Supplies. Doing so unlocks the first two loadout slots, but each upgrade is increasingly more expensive. After constructing the Armory, the Foreign Supply costs for upgrades will be 400, then 800, and 1,200 for the last one. Each upgrade unlocks an additional loadout slot for a total of five.

Loadout options include assigning and saving different weapons, armor, and abilities to a particular slot. To use loadouts in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players can access the inventory and ability screens on the pause menu, clear one of the loadouts, and equip the desired gear or skills. Changing the gear loadout will also swap the assigned abilities, so players should choose skills that work well with the armor and weapons they're using. Creating different loadouts will also change the Armory's interior because each set will be displayed on an armor stand.
