The Assassin’s Creed franchise is turning 15-years-old this year, and Ubisoft has prepared plenty of ways to celebrate it. Earlier today it hosted a live stream and launched a page on its website thanking fans of the series for their support. But that’s not all, as Ubisoft also announced a slew of new content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for Year 2.
As far as content goes, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has had plenty since its release in 2020. And now, players can look forward to even more content in Year 2. Then there’s the armory update, which will allow players to show off the gear they’ve collected along the way. Mastery Challenge Pack 2 offers new trails for players to conquer that should test their skills in combat and stealth. And this fall will see more caves added to the game for players to explore. These will be part of a larger update called Tombs of the Fallen.
But the biggest content update coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the new rogue-like mode coming in summer. The Forgotten Saga once again puts players in the role of Odin as they travel to Niflheim. The exact specifics of the mode weren’t revealed in today’s event, but it’ll have the usual traits of a rogue-like.
