Kevin Feige, the mastermind behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe, explains how Moon Knight and WandaVision are similar. Oscar Isaac is making his MCU debut as the titular Moon Knight with the upcoming Disney+ series. Specific plot details for Moon Knight are still under wraps, but as its release date nears, Feige teases that the show is similar to Marvel Studios' critically-acclaimed small screen project WandaVision.
After the conclusion of the Infinity Saga, the MCU started creating multiple series for Disney+ as part of its efforts to establish itself in the streaming sphere. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was meant to kick off this new endeavor, but due to complications regarding the coronavirus pandemic, Marvel Studios rolled out WandaVision first. The innovative project saw Scarlet Witch/Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) trying to live a normal suburban life in Westview. However, it turns out that the ideal world they're in isn't all that it seems to be.

WandaVision was a major hit for Marvel Studios and it was a great way to kick off its Disney+ branch. But it also left viewers scratching their heads after each episode as the plot's mystery unfolded. More than a year since it was released, the MCU is doing a similar narrative in Moon Knight.
