Pokemon Legends: Arceus has launched for Nintendo Switch and invites players on a trip into the past, as they set out on an adventure into the ancient Hisui region, the area that later becomes what Pokemon fans already know to be modern-day Sinnoh.

But how long does this new adventure take for you to beat? While the game doesn't offer the full roster of Pokemon to catch, there's still plenty to add to your Pokedex as well as a wealth of new content, such as Research Tasks and Alpha Pokemon to tackle.
If you're just looking to complete the Pokemon Legends: Arceus storyline without too much sidetracking, HowLongToBeat estimates that you're looking at about 18.5 hours to see the credits roll.
Of course, there is plenty of side content on offer, from requests to the ultimate goal of trying to complete the entire Pokedex, not to mention, it's pretty easy to get lost in the beauty of the Hisui region. That means it's super easy to take your time, increasing your average playtime to about 27 hours if you do a little extra on the side.
If you're thinking that seeing the end credits roll is the end of your Hisuian adventure, you'd be wrong. There's lots more to do in the post-game content, with new quests, Legendary Pokemon to catch, and of course, filling out that Pokedex.
