Ahead of tomorrow’s State of Play presentation, PlayStation has revealed that Horizon Call of the Mountain will make its full debut at the event. Not much is currently known about the incoming PSVR 2 launch title, but Playstation says that fans will be able to get a “new look” at the incoming virtual reality Horizon spin-off during tomorrow’s showcase.
In January of this year, Sony announced that PlayStation VR 2 was in production. PSVR 2 is set to launch early next year and boasts impressive specs, including two 2000 x 2040 OLED screens, eye-tracking technology, and haptic feedback motors built into the headset. On the software front, Sony has been tight-lipped about the 20 launch titles set to arrive on PSVR 2, only revealing Horizon Call of the Mountain so far. Recently, there have been rumors about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 receiving PSVR 2 integration but nothing substantial. Tomorrow’s State of Play should clarify what fans can expect from Sony’s next-generation virtual reality device.

June’s State of Play event will last roughly 30 minutes and offer reveals and updates for the latest PS4, PS5, and PSVR 2 titles as part of Summer Game Fest. On Twitter, the official Playstation account has reassured fans that the much-anticipated Horizon: Call of the Mountain will be present at the event, replaying the same brief gameplay clip that Guerilla first showed in January. While PlayStation hasn’t teased any further details about the game, fans won’t have to wait long to see Horizon Call of the Mountain in action.
