Horizon Forbidden West is a massive open-world game with lots of activities for players to do to earn extra XP, skill points, and sometimes even new weapons. One of the side activities that players will come across on their journey out west are Vista Points. There are nine in Horizon Forbidden West. These are semi-tall towers, and, at first, players might think they need to try to climb them or something, but it's more than that.
Once players approach the Vista Tower in Plainsong, they'll need to use Aloy's focus ability by pressing in the right control stick. Scan the base of the Vista Point tower, and this will give Aloy a fuzzy image that will need to be lined up with a location in the open world. Luckily, players can use this guide to find the Vista Point image and complete the Vista Tower in Plainsong.
The map will show a yellow circle where the image can be found, but it won't show the exact location. While Aloy will give players a few hints, finding where the image lines up can still be challenging.

After scanning the Vista Point tower in Plainsong, players will want to search directly south/southwest to find the Vista Image point. Follow the path up the mountain, and then climb some walls to reach a rundown area that looks like a ruined vantage point. If players look out towards the open field, they should have a giant windmill to their left and what looks like giant broken antennas or satellite dishes in the rubble.
