Horizon Forbidden West players can find up to nine different Vista Point Towers scattered across the game's massive open world. These side activities are purely optional but can help players earn bonus XP towards unlocking new skills to bolster Aloy's arsenal, making it easier to take down the big bad dinosaur machines. This guide will go over Vista Point: The Stillsands in Horizon Forbidden West.
Upon reaching these Vista Towers, it may look as if players need to climb up the tower to activate it, but players need to use their Focus ability by pressing in the right control stick. This is the same ability used to scan machines to find their weaknesses and loot information. Scan the bottom of the tower, and a blurry image will appear that resembles a view from the Old World — in this case, players will notice it's supposed to be Las Vegas, a popular travel destination in the state of Nevada.
The map will show a yellow circle where the image can be found, but it won't show the exact location. Aloy will give players a few hints, but finding where the image lines up can still be challenging.

Once the image is obtained, players will need to find where the Vista Point image was taken and match Aloy's world with the fuzzy picture. And for this Vista Point in the Stillsands, players won't have to travel far at all.
The point where players need to visit is directly northwest of the tower's location and is marked on the map above. Basically, go to the cliff overlooking the tower to find a scenic point that faces the tower. Players will know they are in the correct spot if there's a broken fence.
