Update: Well, we suppose that was inevitable. Sony has officially confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition is coming to PS5 on the 6th October. It's also heading to PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) a little later, in early 2024. You can take a look at the announcement trailer above.
It'll be priced at $59.99 USD / €59.99 (and we assume £54.99 in the UK), and bundles in the following:
Original Story: Sony's worst-kept secret, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, appears to be releasing very soon indeed. The game, which bundles together the main sequel with its excellent DLC Burning Shores, is apparently heading to PS5 and PC on 6th October.
That's according to a Japanese retail site, spotted by the ever-watchful Gematsu:
If you visit the link in the above post, the listing is no longer there. Gematsu also notes the listing for the Complete Edition mentioned additional bonuses, like a digital art book, comic, and soundtrack.
It all sounds perfectly plausible to us. However, if the game really is launching on 6th October — that's next week, at the time of writing — Sony isn't giving itself much time to announce it. Presumably, an official reveal is close at hand, if that release date is legitimate.
