NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU is rumored to feature more memory than the original GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER (4080 Ti) was amongst the first cards of the upcoming and rumored refresh that was pointed out. The initial rumors said that the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER was going to use the AD102 GPU with a TGP below the 450W and similar pricing as the RTX 4080 Non-SUPER.
Now, it looks like Benchlife has confirmed that the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER does exist along with the rest of the rumored RTX 40 SUPER series cards but it looks like NVIDIA has yet to decide their final configurations. One configuration of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU includes up to 20 GB of GDDR6X memory which is 25% more than the RTX 4080 and makes the card more or less similar to the RTX 3080 Ti 20 GB.
According to our various sources, the relevant information has not yet been provided to various AIC partners, but the three SKUs have basically been confirmed, among which the updated version of GeForce RTX 4080 will be a 20GB GDDR6x memory configuration, but another source emphasized , everything will be finalized until NVIDIA releases a formal notice, otherwise it will just be an Internet rumor.
