Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 'Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age' Drops October 23
HoYoverse have announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 ‘Annals of Pinecany’s Mappou Age’ is set to drop on October 23.
The new update will send players to Penacony’s Paperfold University as auditing students in the Continuance Mission, Banana Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity for a “one of a kind scholastic adventure.”
As players enjoy the campus life at Paperfold University, they’ll encounter Rappa, a new 5 star Galaxy Ranger character. Rappa considers herself to be a ninja and is capable of reciting ninja mantras, creating Ninja Seals, and uses ninja scrolls to follow the Way of the Ninja with a blend of rap, graffiti, and comics.
In combat, Rappa can enter Sealform after using her Ultimate ability and she can then use her ability Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade to deal tons of area of effect damage to enemy all done with a special first person camera view.
Besides Rappa, limited 5 star characters Dan Heng, Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine are returning in the first and second halves of Version 2.6’s warp event.
Lastly, Version 2.6 will also add the third Simulated Universe DLC, a follow up on Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile.
