From comics, to movies, to collectibles, Marvel has taken the opportunity to show its appreciation and commitment to. Insomniac Games' project, however, seems to have been left behind in all the celebrations.
As 2024 comes to a close, it's becoming abundantly clear that the highly anticipated game, set for release on PlayStation 5, will not be making an appearance. This is surely disappointing for fans, not only as it continues the long wait for news on the title's development following its initial reveal in 2021, but 2024 served as the perfect opportunity for the game to showcase the ambitious future planned for. Despite this, hope is not entirely lost, as another milestone on the horizon could mean can shine the much-deserved spotlight on Logan once more.
Much of 2024 was spent by Marvel reiterating the impact has made. This was largely focused on comics, with a huge influx of stories for fans to delve into. The previous run of the ongoing series came to an end with the explosive arc, pitting Logan against his arch-rival in a spectacular showdown, followed by a relaunch under the helm of acclaimed writer Saladin Ahmed. This doesn't even include the slew of limited series on offer, including, which brought all the bloody violence fans come to expect in one action-packed story.
Beyond the new comic ventures, Marvel also took the opportunity to remind fans of the mutant's incredible history. The Marvel Legends series gained a variety of new figures showcasing iconic moments throughout Wolverine's comics run. And there's no forgetting the enormous success of , bringing back fan-favorite Hugh Jackman in a loving tribute to the 20th Century Fox series of films that remain as such a huge part of the character's history.
