Though Hogwarts Legacy has been out for several months now, those intending to play the open world action RPG on the Nintendo Switch have had to wait for the game longer than those on other platforms- though that wait is coming to an end. With the game set to launch for the Switch next week, a new trailer has been released by Nintendo over on Twitter.
This is, of course, the first time that we’ve seen gameplay footage for Hogwarts Legacy’s Switch port (though we did get some screenshots not too long ago), and based on what’s shown in the trailer, it looks surprisingly decent. There’s obviously a clear step down from the game’s current-gen and PC versions where visual quality and the level of detail are concerned, but it nonetheless looks quite good, considering that it’s running natively on the Switch’s significantly weaker hardware. You can view the trailer below.
Hogwarts Legacy is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
