Earlier this year, multiple leaks and reports claimed that Hi-Fi Rush was headed to the Nintendo Switch, and though Tango Gameworks’ acclaimed rhythm action game has received a multiplatform launch, it’s only released for PS5, with there being no official word on it coming to Nintendo’s console.
Now, however, newly surfaced evidence seems to suggest that that might be happening at some point after all. The European ratings board, Pan European Game Information (PEGI), has rated Hi-Fi Rush for the Nintendo Switch, alongside its other existing versions. The rating could indicate that Microsoft might be preparing an announcement and release for the action title on Nintendo’s platform.
After Hi-Fi Rush was announced for PS5 but not for the Nintendo Switch, it was claimed that it was being planned for launch on the rumoured Nintendo Switch 2 instead.
Speaking recently about Microsoft’s plans for continued multiplatform releases for first-party titles, CEO Satya Nadella said, “We are committed to meeting players where they are by bringing great games to more people on more devices.” Read more on that through here.
Hi-Fi Rush is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
