Helldivers 2 has plenty of weapons in its armory for players to gun down robots and bugs with, but one thing that has been a constant request from the fanbase is the addition of mechs. Leaks from last month appeared to show off gameplay footage of mechs in action, and an official post from the Helldivers 2 Twitter account teased that they'd be "on the battlefield soon" and are in production in factories across the planet of Tien Kwan.
However, it was announced today that Tien Kwan is under attack, currently under Automaton control, and that the production of mechs has halted as a result. We're not sure if mechs will drop immediately after Tien Kwan is liberated once again, but it does seem like they won't drop until it is.

It seems like more reinforcements will be needed if players want to get their hands on mechs, so it's time to put petty squabbles about nerfs and battle tactics to the side and help out your fellow soldiers. Just be aware that you'll also be dealing with new threats if you haven't played for a few days, as unique weather patterns such as meteor showers, fire tornadoes, and ion storms have been added to the game to give the battlefield a little extra spice.
If you want some tips on how to get the most out of your weaponry before you drop onto Tien Kwan, Helldivers 2 director, Johan Pilestedt, recently laid out exactly how armor penetration
