The highly-anticipated Halo Infinite Forge mode has apparently leaked, showing off features such as weather effects and custom assets. The extremely popular mode, which allows players to edit their own levels using a set of accessible tools, has been a staple of the sci-fi shooter saga since 2007's Halo 3. 343 Industries' Halo Infinite lacked Forge at launch, but the developer has assured players that the beloved feature will be added in a future update.

Halo Infinite's single-player story campaign followed in December, with the latest installment in Master Chief's ongoing saga adopting a unique open-world format. Halo Infinite's campaign co-op and Forge mode are the two most highly-requested features, but developer 343 Industries unfortunately delayed both past their initial January 2022 launch window.
