A new trailer for Guillermo del Toro'sCabinet of Curiosities unveils the first look at Netflix's upcoming horror series. Best known as the writer and director of hits like Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, The Shape of Water, and most recently Nightmare Alley, del Toro is one of the most celebrated filmmakers working in Hollywood today. Although he doesn't generally direct straight horrors himself, del Toro is renowned for the horror elements of many of his films, often including shocking violence and terrifying creatures.
Del Toro's latest project, Cabinet of Curiosities, continues the filmmaker's love of horror and acts as an anthology series, with each episode featuring new stories with new characters. Made in partnership with Netflix, Cabinet of Curiosities boasts a standout cast, including the likes of Andrew Lincoln, Hannah Galway, Tim Blake Nelson, Essie Davis, Luke Roberts, F. Murray Abraham, Crispin Glover, Ben Barnes, Sofia Boutella, and Harry Potter's Rupert Grint. While some of the stories in the show are originals from del Toro himself, others are adapted from iconic works, including those of H.P. Lovecraft, Michael Shea, and Emily Carroll.

As part of Netflix's ongoing Geeked Week celebration, the streamer has unveiled the first trailer for del Toro's upcoming Cabinet of Curiosities.
