Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Being Dark & Different Is A Good Sign
James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is said to be dark and different from the franchise's past films, which is a very good sign for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. After several delays, the third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is finally making progress. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has been in development since 2017 and is highly anticipated by fans for a variety of reasons, ranging from the introduction of Adam Warlock to seeing how Gunn ends the trilogy. According to the director, it'll be far different from what audiences expect.
As is the case with most MCU movies, there is a certain expectation about the story and tone that the films will have to fit the general MCU style. However, the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise has a tone unique to it. Gunn turned the obscure comic characters into household names by injecting plenty of humor, action, and stakes into their stories. The franchise is also known for having great soundtracks curated by Gunn. All of these elements will once again be in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, but Gunn isn't just going to retread familiar waters.
