The Batman is a thrilling crime mystery that follows the Gotham City's vigilante (Robert Pattinson) as he investigates a series of murders committed by a man who calls himself The Riddler (Paul Dano). The serial killer is targeting a number of Gotham’s elite while teasing that the truth must be revealed. He leaves clues for Batman at every crime scene and, with help from Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz), a waitress who works at mob boss Carmine Falcone’s club, and police Lt. Jim Gordon (Jeffrey Wright), Batman works to solve the mystery connecting the murders before Riddler goes after his next target.

Audiences may be inclined to stick around for a mid or post-credits scene, but The Batman does not technically have an after-credits scene like other comic book movies usually do, at least not in the traditional sense. However, that doesn’t mean Reeves leaves viewers without a teaser for another installment of The Batman.
