GTA 5 was no doubt a big hit for Rockstar, but come to find out, actors have confirmed that there was a lot of behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the game that were never released online. These scenes and clips are now kept somewhere on a harddrive or something else by one of the flimers during the time of the game being made never to be seen.
According to GamesRadar+, there was a interview Q&A where some of the actors from GTA 5 spoke about some of the interesting things behind the scenes. Shawn Fonteno, Ned Luke, and Steven Ogg were the ones to be in the Q&A. Luke went on to say that there were cameras rolling the whole time, meaning there is a lot of footage never seen.
In another comment during the Q&A, Ogg says that there were “a string of stupid challenges” that took close behind closed doors after hours of the recording and making of GTA 5. Luke then soon adds to that comment with saying, “What’s nuts to me is that behind the scenes camera [we had] going the whole time and they never did anything with it. That stuff’s gold.”
Ogg then adds: “I think at one point, didn’t we discuss how cool it would be to make the making of? So that at this point we could have a documentary on the making of GTA,” Ogg says.
It is sad to think that so much footage from GTA 5 coming to life is just being stored somewhere else as many people would love to have seen what it was like back then when this game was being worked on.
GTA 5 is avaliable on PS5, XBox Series X/S, and PC.
