Grand Theft Auto V may be getting a late port on Nintendo, judging from information discovered recently.
Following the leak of the game's source code, people have been looking through it to find new information on the game. As reported by X/Twitter user @Budzcario, the source code includes Nintendo Switch platform support, suggesting a port may be in the works.
In recent times, Rockstar Games supported the Nintendo Switch with ports of its older titles, such as Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, so a Grand Theft Auto V port definitely wouldn't be surprising, considering the game originally released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, same as Red Dead Redemption.
While a Grand Theft Auto V Nintendo Switch port has yet to be confirmed, we do know that Rockstar Games is working on the next entry in the series. The game will launch sometime in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and who knows, maybe Rockstar Games will be able to work its magic to bring GTA 6 to the Nintendo Switch successor as well.
Grand Theft Auto V is now out on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and Xbox 360. We will keep you updated on the Nintendo Switch port of the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
