Go Go Town is a new town sim from Prideful Sloth
thesixthaxis.comGo Go Town has been announced during the Future Games Show, with the game being a new town simulator by Prideful Sloth. The developer’s previous games include Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles and Grow: Song of the Evertree. You can check out some gameplay in the trailer below.
“We’re excited for players to dive into Go–Go Town!”, says the team at Prideful Sloth. “We can’t wait for players to experience the joy of building and managing their own town, and we look forward to seeing how each town evolves into a thriving community full of life and excitement!”
As the newly appointed mayor of a rundown town it is up to you to turn it around. The town itself is at the mercy of a corporation called TownCo, and its scam of a restoration programme. Players will work to improve the town and try and take it out of the clutches of TownCo so that it can thrive on its own merits. That will mean cleaning the town up, planning its infrastructure, building shops and deal with challenges. Outside of building the town up you can relax and ge to know the inhabitants as well as dancing and play games at the arcade.
A release date for Go Go Town is yet to be confirmed, but the official website points to 2024. Go Go Town will be released on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
