It’s even better if it actually makes sense, and today’s giveaway makes the most sense as we’re offering ten lucky winners a PC code for the revival of the 8-bit classic Shark! Shark! on World Marine Day! That’s a lot of exclamation marks!
Offering both solo-swimming single-player and multiplayer modes for up to four players, Shark! Shark! sees you take control of a plucky fishy friend, and aim to collect as many points as possible while avoiding a host of potential threats including blowfish, orca, lobsters, kraken, jellyfish and, of course, sharks. Multiplayer is both local and online, and there’s also cross-platform play for facing off against your friends no matter where they’re playing.
It’s light and funny and perfect for playing with family and friends, with updated graphics and a soothing soundtrack provided by industry legend Tommy Talarico, whose work runs from 8-bit era titles like Another World and Robocop vs Terminator through to the Wii’s Sonic and the Black Knight.
Shark! Shark! is the second installment of BBG’s reimagined games lineup, including Dynablaster, which launched on September 14, and another reimagined 8-bit classic Astrosmash.
