Ghost of Tsushima has received a new update that repairs a Wind Shrine to the north of Iki Island. The reward for completing the puzzle of the Forbidden Shrine is an Aloy-inspired set of clothing/armor, which is the main protagonist of Guerrilla Games' Horizon series. For those that want tofind the location of the Forbidden Shrine and figure out its mystery, this guide will help players out. However, it's worth noting that only players with the Iki Island expansion (or the Director's Cut of Ghost of Tsushima) will be able to access the Forbidden Shrine and reap the benefits.
Ghost of Tsushima players can find the location of the Forbidden Shrine in the northern section of Iki Island, just northwest of Fort Sakai and north of Sly Hunter's Forest. If players have updated Ghost of Tsushima to its latest version, they should be able to open up the map and see the shrine. They can also fast travel to it to spend less time traveling to the area. When players get to the shrine, they'll spot a scroll right in front of the statue that reads: "The old world is gone, though life is never-ending. Focus your spirit, Take the archer's mantle. A seeker must aim for truth."
The Tense Standoffs of Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2 Have a Shared History
If players are wandering around the shrine, unable to figure out what to do next, here's what needs to be done.
After figuring out the Shrine's secret, players will be rewarded with the «Sign of the Hunter» headband and the Seeker's Attire. And that's all there is to completing the Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West Easter egg in Ghost of Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima is available now for PS4 and PS5.
