Animal Cross: New Horizons players can expand their custom design slots, a new addition in the 2.0 version update. ACNH is the kind of video game that can be played for a lifetime—or at least until the next title in the series comes out. It is sort of a life simulator, and has been keeping villagers busy for over a year now. Ever since its beginnings, Animal Crossing: New Horizonhas been a constantly evolving world, with new seasonal events to attend and unique items to craft. It’s even got Mario! Now that the game is heading into its second year, some events are cropping up again (beware the arrival of Zipper T. Bunny), but that doesn’t mean everything is the same. The game has gotten a number of quality of life improvements, too.
Since the 2.0 version update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players can acquire new custom design slots, giving them access to 200 new designs. To get more custom design slots in ACNH, players will need no purchase an in-game item from the Nook Stop Terminal in Resident Services. Once purchased, players will be able to use 50 additional spots, bringing the total to 100.

First and foremost of those improvements, ACNH's Bunny Day will be mercifully shorter this time around...but there are also some more practical additions that have just been added to the game. One of the best is the expanded number of custom design slots available in the Custom Design app on the NookPhone. With the March update, players will now be able to get 50 additional slots for both the normal app and the pro version of the app. That totals 100 extra design slots—that’s a lot!
