As the only Dendro healer in Genshin Impact, Baizhu can help round out any Dendro reaction team, especially for Hyperbloom ones. Like Diona, Baizhu can both heal and create shields, though his healing abilities far outweigh his shielding ones.

Both Baizhu’s Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst heal your party, so you should level them up together. Compared to even Crystallized shields, the Seamless Shield isn’t great, so prioritize the Talents based on how much you rely on them in combat. If you don’t plan on using Baizhu to trigger Dendro reactions, then you don’t have to bother with his Normal Attack.
Baizhu can perform up to 4 consecutive attacks that deal Dendro DMG. His Charged and Plunging Attack function in similar ways, both dealing AoE Dendro DMG to opponents in front of him.
Upon activation, Baizhu releases a Gossamer Sprite that attacks nearby opponents, dealing Dendro DMG. After it performs 3 attacks or if there are no opponents nearby, the Sprite will return and heal all nearby party members based on Baizhu’s Max HP.
Baizhu enters the Pulsing Clarity state and creates a Seamless Shield that absorbs Dendro DMG with 250% effectiveness. He will generate a new Seamless Shield every 2.5 seconds while in the Pulsing Clarity state.
The Seamless Shield will also heal your active character based on Baizhu’s Max HP and attack opponents with Spiritveins. Spiritveins deal Dendro DMG whenever a new Seamless Shield generates, or when the Shield expires or is shattered.
Baizhu gains different buffs depending on the current HP of your active character. When your character’s HP is less than 50%, Baizhu gains a 20%
