The number of Primogems in 5.4 has allegedly been calculated based on the leaks for the patch so far, giving players some insight into what they can expect in terms of the resources they consume to obtain new characters and weapons. Version 5.4 is still a few weeks away as the action RPG by HoYoverse has just entered Version 5.3. The current update is focused on the conclusion of the Natlan story arc through new Archon Quests, the upcoming Lantern Rite Festival in 2025, and the four new playable characters, which includes Mavuika in .
Even so, some attention is shifting toward the next update, as the beta tests for Version 5.4 have commenced. Not much has been leaked just yet, but important rumors have been confirmed by leaked information. The next patch, for example, will add an event with a F2P (free-to-play) 4-star weapon as a reward. The leaks have also highlighted Yumemizuki Mizuki’s kit in 5.4, showing she will be a 5-star Anemo character wielding a catalyst. Based on what has been leaked so far, a calculation has been made to predict how many Primogems will be obtainable in Version 5.4.
Taking into consideration the leaks about Version 5.4’s new quests, duration, events, and recurring game mode resets, the leaker known as Hiragara made an estimation of how many Primogems players will be able to claim throughout Version 5.4. According to the leaker’s calculations, which were shared in a post flagged as “” on Reddit, F2P players will be able to obtain 9,350 Primogems, which translates to roughly 58 Intertwined Fates to use in character and weapon banners. Compared to the number of Primogems in 5.3, the next update will see a drastic cut.
