HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact players will receive weekly gifts, including free Primogems, to apologize for Genshin Impact's 2.7 update delay. Beginning May 11, and continuing weekly until version 2.7 is released, Genshin Impact players will receive compensation to make up for the postponement. The length of the delay is currently unknown, as HoYoverse has not yet announced a new release date for Genshin Impact's 2.7 update. Until the update is ready, players will continue to receive weekly in-game compensation.
While Genshin Impact players wait for further announcements about the upcoming update, they can reap the rewards of the weekly compensation. Each week players will receive 400 Primogems, one Fragile Resin, seven Hero's Wit, 16 Mystic Enhancement Ore, and 120,000 Mora via in-game mail. The compensation is an easy way to save for playable characters arriving in Genshin Impact 2.7. The best part, of course, is the Primogems. Every two weeks' worth of compensation will give the player enough Primogems for five Intertwined or Acquaint Fate, used to wish for new characters.
