The Android 13 update includes a new permission setting that allows you to manage which apps send you notifications. It includes better permission settings for partnering with nearby devices. It contains all-new 'Material You' design language components, which let you match app icon colours to themes and choose pre-app text, among other things. It also comes with better controls for privacy and security. For example, with Android 13, you will be able to choose between ‘Photos and Videos’ and ‘Music and Audio’ when an app asks you for permission to access files. Earlier it was limited to ‘Files and media’ which used to give access to whole internal storage.
Not just for smartphones, but for tablets, Android 13 brings more multitasking options.
