2K Games has updated WWE 2k22 with additional moves and the arrival of more iconic wrestlers to the MyRise career mode, alongside a number of various enhancements and tweaks. Wrestling games appear to have become increasingly popular over the years, with developer 2K Games continuing to put more resources behind its WWE 2K series by releasing additional post-launch updates and major game-to-game changes. According to recent statements from Stephanie McMahon, WWE will be following 2K22 with an RPG, further diversifying its presence in the gaming sphere.
Plenty of gamers use the WWE 2K games to create their own meticulously detailed Superstars and battle with friends through local or online co-op, but there is single-player content to enjoy as well. The MyRise mode was included in WWE 2K22, allowing players to either play through the career of pro wrestler Rey Mysterio or create their own wrestler, crafting their legend from the ground-up. MyRise follows a narrative that can be slightly influenced by player decision, and the campaign is split into male and female storylines. Regular updates have expanded and polished this MyRise career mode alongside the broader game, with a recent WWE 2K22 patch tweaking character appearances and cutting down glitches.
