Pre-orders for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II were the third highest-seller on Steam last week.
These opened up last week, alongside developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision sharing more details about the upcoming shooter, which is set to launch on October 28th. This is the first time a Call of Duty title has been released on Steam since 2017's WWII.
Modern Warfare II pre-orders came in behind Steam Deck, at No.1, while Stunlock's V Rising continues its reign in the charts in second place. Elden Ring drops one place week-on-week – having been replaced by Call of Duty in third place – while Valve's Index virtual reality headset also goes down one position to fifth.
Co-op romp It Takes Two from Hazelight rose one place to sixth, while Sea of Thieves drops two positions to No.7.
New horror title The Quarry from developer Supermassive Games and 2K made its debut in eighth place, just ahead of pre-orders for cat cyberpunk game Stray, which came in at ninth place.
