Gems and Runes Can be Swapped On the Fly in Vessel of Hatred - No Jeweler Needed
wowhead.comIn a huge quality-of-life change, Runes and Gems can now be swapped on the fly without having to visit a Jeweler in Diablo 4's Vessel of Hatred.
This change will be a welcome one for many players, as it provides quite a large increase in ease of use — no more having to swap gear only in town!

With so many changes to Gems in Vessel of Hatred, along with the addition of Runewords (which introduce a secondary layer of complexity to sockets), this change is likely to ease potential pain points for players who would have otherwise had to stop what they were doing, head back to town, find a Jeweler, unsocket and re-socket items, then get back into the fray.
Now, you can spend more time doing what you love — slaughtering demons.
