A great soundtrack can elevate your gaming session, but sometimes you want to listen after you put down the controller. Spotify users are in luck on that front, as Sony just added a new batch of game soundtracks to the music-streaming service.
As Eurogamer reports, Sony Interactive Entertainment released the original soundtrack (OST) for Shadow of the Colossus, Gravity Rush, and PoPoLoCrois, among others. The move was first spotted by Twitter user AniPlaylist, who linked each of the newly uploaded albums in the thread.
Other music-streaming platforms like YouTube Music and Apple Music don't have these particular Sony OSTs, but others, like Final Fantasy and Destiny, are available across streaming services. According to Eurogamer, Sam Hughes, Audio Designer for Remedy Games, also created a Final Fantasy playlist on Spotify with over 2,000 songs to add to your own playlist.
In August, Sony added soundtracks for The Last Guardian, Ico, and Siren, according to VG247. This might indicate more are to be expected. But, if you prefer your audio in physical form, Sony last year released a bunch of soundtracks on vinyl, including Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Ghost of Tshushima, and Returnal.
