Namely, while Geralt can traverse most of The Witcher 3's massive open world with Roach, she is even more important when the famous witcher needs to race. It was during one of these races that one player realized Roach's full potential, as she bugged out and tilted herself into the ground when galloping down a slope.

The short video was posted by randomdude604 on one of the most popular Witcher-themed subReddits, and it features the specific race that takes place after Geralt's trusted friend Eskel had helped him hunt down the Forktail that was harassing the local wildlife near the witcher fort, Kaer Morhen. While the whole activity was supposed to be a simple and relaxing romp down the hill as the two witchers wind down, Roach had other things in mind.
Though it might seem slightly ridiculous that bugs such as these would still be present in as high-profile of a game as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt so long after its launch, it's obvious that this is one of the biggest open-world games of all time. In effect, this is a rather trivial and funny bug that seems to crop up rarely enough not to matter too much, so it probably wasn't worth bothering with in the first place.
