A new Ms. Marvelset photo reveals a peek at Kamala Khan's homemade Captain Marvel costume, the first superhero suit she dons following her transformation. Because of the MCU's ever-shifting release schedule, Ms. Marvelis one Marvel Disney+ series that has seen its premiere window bumped around a fair amount. The series once seemed poised to premiere in late 2021 before it seemingly moved to the first half of 2022. That changed later; Ms. Marvelis likely to debut sometime this summer, putting it after the Oscar Isaac-starringMoon Knight.
Ms. Marvelstars newcomer Iman Vellani as young hero Kamala Khan, an Inhuman who, after undergoing terrigenesis, develops the ability to shape-shift and alter various parts of her body. The series is expected to tell Kamala's origins, though there have been rumors that Ms. Marvel will make some changes to her powers. At the same time, Ms. Marvelis retaining key parts of her comic book backstory, such as her fangirl appreciation for Captain Marvel. A trailer for the show that premiered during Disney+ Day last year found Kamala wearing a homemade take on Captain Marvel's suit, showing just how much inspiration she takes from the older hero.

Ms. Marvelis in the midst of conducting reshoots right now, and a photo from the set of those reshoots (via Atlanta Filming) reveals a new look at Kamala's Captain Marvel costume. As the caption confirms, the picture is from the middle of an action scene, as Vellani is reportedly running from robotic drones. The helmet on her head is reminiscent of Carol Danvers', confirming this scene is from one of Kamala's early outings as a hero. Check it out below.
