FromSoftware will continue working on the Armored Core series in the future, judging from a new job ad that was discovered online this week.
As reported by cindiestarlight on the Tech4Gamers forums, the Japanese studio is looking to hire a Character Modeler whose responsibilities will include modeling and texturing characters or robots. While this is in no way an indication that a new entry in the series is already in the works, a new Armored Core definitely seems to be in the cards.
FromSoftware planning to release another entry in the Armored Core series comes as no surprise, given the success of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and Hidetaka Miyazaki stating multiple times in the past few months how he wanted to make another game in the series. With the sixth entry in the series being among some of the best, as highlighted by Kai in his review, it will really be interesting to see how the studio will evolve the formula.
FromSoftware has created its pinnacle mech-fighting opus with Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. The faster pace of combat and higher difficulty may deter newcomers from strapping in for the first time, but there’s truly something special at play here. If the pace of Elden Ring leaves you wanting more or you simply want to blow up anything that moves, Armored Core VI’s got a job for you.
The latest game released by FromSoftware is the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. You can learn more about it by checking out my review.
