The psychological thriller opened with both positive reception from audience and critics alike. Forensic movie stars Radhika Apte and Vikrant Massey in lead roles. The movie is a remake of the 2020 Malayalam movie by the same name which starred Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas. Despite releasing just a month before the nation-wide lockdowns, the original movie was a financial success. It appears that the Hindi-language remake is now set for similar reception. Forensic witnessed its OTT release was on June 24, 2022 on Zee5. The movie has an intricate plot where a serial killer is targeting minor girls and a team of cops led by Radhika Apte and an eccentric forensic expert Vikrant Massey must come together to stop the killer before the killer strikes again. The movie is directed by Vishal Furia, who has also directed the Criminal Justice web series which was critically acclaimed. Alongside, the movie also stars Rohit Roy, Prachi Desai, Vindu Dara Singh and others in supporting roles.
