Leaked footage and screenshots from Diablo 4‘s alpha has appeared online.
The footage, which was circulated on Twitter before being taken down (mirrorhere) was seemingly from the “friends and family” Diablo 4 alphawhich is currently taking place.
The video show off character customization, game creation and the difficulty selection screen.

The character screen shows off the range of face and body combinations that players will be able to select, however, it’s unclear if this is the full creation suite.
Tutorial options are also offered, which allows the player to select “more guidance” or “less guidance”. There doesn’t seem to be an option to turn off tutorials completely.

Diablo 4 was originally announced in 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Earlier this year PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions were also confirmed, with cross-play and cross-progression for all platforms.
In June, Diablo franchise general manager Rod Fergusson said Blizzard was “committed to delivering an incredible breadth of content after launch, for years to come, anchored around optional cosmetic items and full story-driven expansions“.
