The revelation confirms that being with a superhero means spending long periods apart — even amidst a crisis — without hearing anything from them is surprisingly common.
Barry Allen's Flash avoided the recent Death of the Justice League, but his current fate isn't much better than the dead heroes. Currently, the speedster is trapped on Earth-Flash.1, a pocket dimension created by the crisis-causing villain, where the Flash believes he's in a paradise when in reality, he's being kept a prisoner. In the world, everything seems perfect for Barry Allen, but Pariah is actually containing him as he unleashes the Great Darkness and causes the upcoming Dark Crisis. However, despite Barry not returning home, his partner, Iris West, believed his absence was normal until she was informed of what was happening.
