Square Enix has revealed that the last game in its Pixel Remaster series – Final Fantasy VI – is set to land on the Play Store at the end of this month. So that’s good news.
The game is a preened and poked version of the 16bit classic, with slightly souped up pixel graphics to make it look a bit shinier on modern devices. There are some tweaks to make it play better on mobile as well.
There’s an updated soundtrack, and you can stick on auto-battle mode if you get tired of doing things. Who doesn’t get tired of doing things, sometimes?
Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is set to land on the Play Store on February 23rd, so just under a fortnight from right now. Pre-registration is live, and you can do that by clicking here.
And, until Final Fantasy VI does come out, all the other Pixel Remaster games are on sale for 20% off.
They’re all pretty good, especially if you like the Final Fantasy games and want a hassle-free way to play them. You can click the links below to grab them from the Play Store for their new, lower prices.
