Final Fantasy VI: Pixel Remaster is set to launch on the Play Store later this week. In fact, by our reckoning it should be going live tomorrow. It’s the last in the Pixel Remaster series – polished up versions of the classic FF games.
To celebrate / encourage interest in the upcoming launch, Square Enix has released a brand new trailer that shows the game in action. We’ll definitely get round to embedding it in a bit.
Like the other Pixel Remasters, FFVI has had a graphical overhaul, and some other tweaks and pokes to make it better suited to modern touchscreen play. Here’s the trailer. Told you it was coming.
Alongside the updated graphics, the game features a revamped soundtrack, a new UI and the ability to let the game play all the battles for you. Because who can be bothered with battling nowadays.
