Wizarding World producer David Heyman says the script for Fantastic Beasts 4 hasn't been started just yet. Currently, the Harry Potter prequel franchise is gearing up for the release of its third installment, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The David Yates-directed film has experienced a few obstacles over the years, first caused by the coronavirus pandemic and then by the departure of Grindelwald actor Johnny Depp. As things stand now, The Secrets of Dumbledore is scheduled to debut in April, a few months after its original November 2021 premiere date.
Fantastic Beasts 3 will pick up with Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his friends as they slip deeper into the brewing wizarding war against the nefarious Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen). Like the previous movies in the franchise, The Secrets of Dumbledore will travel to new locales, including Germany and China. It remains to be seen where this installment will leave the characters, but it has been confirmed that there will be a total of five Fantastic Beasts movies. That means there's already some interest in seeing where Fantastic Beasts 4 will go whenever it may premiere.
