The artist even included Pikachu and Eevee from Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee in their collection of starters. The artwork was done in celebration of the recently announced Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, welcoming the new babies to the franchise.
One of the more unique aspects of the drawings is the character that was given to each Pokemon. Totodile from Pokemon Gold and Silver is shown crouching and ready to pounce, while Chespin from Pokemon X and Y waves at the viewer. It gives every starter their own unique feel, helping them stand out from each other.
