There’s a Fallout fever going around lately thanks to the hit Amazon Prime Video live-action adaptation. Fans have sat in on each episode of the series, diving into this new thrilling take on the harsh wasteland environment. So, while we’re still on the high of this Fallout fandom, a geographer recently took on the challenge of pinpointing where every Fallout vault is located.
Recently, a YouTube channel called Tunnelsnakesfool, run by a geographer named Nikki, posted a video highlighting the vault locations. Nikki’s channel is primarily based around Fallout, and being a geographer and fan of the series, she took up with the live-action adaptation and noticed a couple of scenes that highlighted the various vaults within the United States of America.
From there, she began to map out where the vaults would be using some of the standard geographic system software. That had to take quite a bit of time, but by using various reference points, Nikki was able to pinpoint where each vault would be or locate each vault as closely as possible.

It’s tough to say if these vaults are final, as you never know if there might be some adjustments to where each is located. Regardless, it’s neat to see where some of the vaults are located and if there could even be a Fallout vault near where you live. You can also see just what states were able to flourish with multiple vaults nearby while other regions within the United States were left with vaults few and far between.
