Along with a new map, there are also a ton of great quests, each revolving around the Island in various ways. The "Shipbreaker" quest sends you on a hunt for a terrifying enemy, which also happens to be one of the toughest creatures in Fallout 4. There are lots of useful items you can earn for defeating Shipbreaker, so here's a full guide on how to kill her.
You'll need to follow a few key steps if you want to track down Shipbreaker and defeat it. However, some quest objectives are optional. Here's how to complete every mandatory and optional step.
The first step is to start the "Shipbreaker" quest, which you can do by discovering Shipbreaker's Radio Signal on your Pip-Boy and listening to it. You have a chance to encounter this frequency while exploring the Island, so there's no way to tell exactly when you may encounter it. Once you listen to Shipbreaker's Radio Signal, the mission will begin.
Alternatively, you can speak to settlers inside any of your settlements on the Island, and they may tell you about Shipbreaker, starting the "Shipbreaker" quest. However, you first need to build a Recruitment Radio Beacon at one of the settlements, so settlers will come to it. You can use Dalton's Farm, Longfellow's Cabin, National Park Visitor's Center, or Echo Lake Lumber for this purpose.
