A new Fable trailer was shared today, providing the first proper look at the gameplay years after its original announcement.
The new trailer, which was shared during today's Xbox Games Showcase, shows a more cinematic direction than previous entries in the series. This is made even better by the amazing visuals and the density of the town of Bowerstone. The trailer also shows some quick combat sequences, which, despite their short length, looked good enough.
What does it mean to be a Hero? Humphry, once one of the greatest, will be forced out of retirement when a mysterious figure from his past threatens Albion's very existence.
While Fable has been taking a long time to come out, it's undeniable how Playground Games is doing an excellent job, retaining the unique sense of humor the previous entries in the series are known for. Hopefully, the game will be as fun to play as it looks.
Fable launches on PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S sometime in 2025. The game will also be available from day one as part of the Xbox Game Pass library. We will let you know more about the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
