We’re proud to announce that we’re launching onto the PlayStation VR2 on December 14. Today I’m thrilled to tell you more about how we’ve adapted the game’s frenetic combat, especially for PS VR2.
In Bulletstorm VR, you’ll embark on an ultraviolent journey of survival and revenge as you and your squad battle across the abandoned resort planet of Stygia. Get ready to step into the boots of Grayson Hunt and settle his vendetta against the corrupt General Sarrano once and for all. You’ll collect a veritable arsenal of high-tech weaponry as you cut a swathe of destruction through badlands, terror domes, and derelict ruins.
Skillfully dispatching your opponents into oblivion has never felt better since we’ve worked with the PS VR2 Sense controller’s adaptive triggers. We’ve made sure each weapon will feel a little different in your hands: you’ll feel the Chaingun’s insane rate of fire as you rain bullets down indiscriminately. A lack of resistance could mean you’re due for a reload or need a little more time to get a target lock on for that devastating sniper headshot.
Combat in Bulletstorm gets the blood flowing: between the hail of projectiles, hordes of enemies, and dangerous environments, there are many options for you to unleash destruction. Experiencing this in virtual reality levels up the gunplay and melee combat to new heights, and the haptic feedback adds an intense sense of immersion, especially during a tough fight when you’re not sure who will still be left standing.
