Samsung is celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary with a Disney-themed edition of The Frame TV.
The Frame is Samsung’s line of televisions that double as a digital photo frame of sorts, displaying art when they’re not in use. As you might imagine, the Disney version of the display will come loaded with 100 exclusive pieces of art from the Disney collection, including images from Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Lucasfilm, and National Geographic.
The Frame-Disney100 Edition is a 4K QLED display with Dolby Atmos support. The television can be hung on the wall or placed on a stand. Its ports, like HDMI and coax connections, are contained in a separate “One Connect Box” that connects to the TV through a thin wire and can be placed up to 16 feet away from the display.
Beyond the art, the device will also have a Mickey Mouse-inspired remote and a platinum silver metal bezel—Disney’s signature color.
If buyers want to expand beyond Disney's library of artwork, they'll also have access to the Samsung Art Store, where they can obtain some of the same images used in the traditional version of The Frame, including images from the Louvre and Tate museums.
The Frame-Disney100 Edition is available now from Samsung and Best Buy while supplies last. The display comes in 55-, 65-, and 76-inch sizes for $1,700, $2,200, and $3,200 respectively.
