Gamescom Opening Night Live just wrapped up, but Geoff Keighley rests for no one. The producer/presenter has three major beats every year, and next in his sights is The Game Awards. Keighley has announced the date for when 2023's big show takes place, and as expected, it's scheduled for just before the holidays on 7th December.
This year's a big one, too, as it'll be the 10th show. While no precise details have been confirmed yet, we expect Keighley will mark this milestone in some way. As stated in the above post, the show will celebrate «10 years and this year's amazing games, along with world premieres and new game announcements».
The Game Awards is usually a pretty good watch, mixing in award handouts for the year's best games and studios with exciting new announcements and reveals. It looks like 2023's show will be no different, so we're looking forward to tuning in.
