Exclusive Survivorman VR: The Descent Trailer Sets Release Date
ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive for the upcoming virtual reality survival video game. The title is set to release on Meta Quest 2 and the newly launched Meta Quest 3 on October 18.
“The Descent is a gripping reality-based survival simulator set in the Canadian Arctic that challenges would-be survivalists to use their skills, smarts, and creativity to battle the elements and save their own lives,” reads the game’s description.
The game uses Cream Productions’ patented proprietary technology Dynamic Digital Humans (DDH) — in partnership with Sheridan’s SIRT — to create its 3D avatars. Players will have to manage their body temperature, fatigue, and hunger to keep themselves alive while exploring immersive and dangerous environments.
