This may be a shock to some players since three of Ed's four abilities deal more with support, but he's absolutely the right choice for damage dealing; both for himself and the team. His flashlight will eliminate any traps for select moments; turn it on before opening any chest and never get hit by a trap again.

The real kicker here is his final trait, The Collector, which increases drops from enemies and improves the odds of finding better chests. Among the best hunters, Ed stands out because he's the only one that gives the whole team extra ammo and better weapons. When Ed's in the group, it is almost guaranteed every survivor will end the match with a legendary weapon and plenty of ammo to go along with it.
